BACON ON THE BEACH

SIZZILING ON THE BEACH,
THE BACON
STANDS UP.
WEARING A BEANIE THAT
COVERS DREADS.
AMONGST OTHERS HE STANDS OUT,
LIKE A BOY WEARING A NEON GREEN SHIRT.
HIS BLACK SHADES
KEEP TEH SUN FROM BLINDING HIM.
THE PALM TREE SHADE
KEEPS HIM FROM BURNING.
THE BEACH IS THE ONLLY PLACE
FOR THIS STRIP OF BACON.

Discovering New Strength

Two years after
her husband's
sudden and tragic
DEATH,
in an automobile accident.

Cindy's life is filled with
the comfort of her
faith,
family,
friends
and a thriving career
as a boutique owner.

The woman's
clothing shop that
she
and her daughter
run together
is named after
Steve's jersey number
Fifty Seven Boutique.

Ending

The love we thought would never stop
now cools like a congealing chop.
The kisses that were hot as curry
are bird-pecks taken in a hurry.
The hands that held electric charges
now lie inert as four moored barges.
The feet than ran to meet a date
are running slow and running late.
The eyes that shone and seldom shut
are victims of a power cut.
The parts that then transmitted joy
are now reserved and cold and coy.
Romance, expected once to stay,
has left a note saying GONE AWAY.

Twinkle twinkle

Darling, darling little star,

How often I gaze upon your bars,

Up in the big night sky,

Never lonley, Never shy,

Darling, darling little star,

Shining up there way by Mars.
So much depends upon...

So much depends upon
trees swaying
in the breeze,

sand under
your bare feet,

walking on beach,
paradise.

Riddle Poem

I am the rhythm at night
I move swiftly like a bird on wings
I move in and out so quietly that you would never know
Some days I am blue pure blue as a blue bird
Other days I am green, green like a palm tree swaying tin the breeze
It all depends on the sky
I am the life of many and yet at the same time the death of many
I am so powerful that if any thing disturbs me
I will destroy
Things tumble beneath me as i move
closer and closer

Two Tone Poem

Colors of Me
I am yellow.
Yellow like the sun on a warm summer day.
Bright, cheery and carefree.
Other days im sour like a lemon.
Troubled, nervous and guilty
is always me.
I am also blue.
Flying free like a plane in the sky.
Confident and energetic with faith to keep soaring.
but sometimes i feel like im ging to burst under pressure.
Disgusted, cheated and defeated.
